new concept! 7/18/2016
After doing some pondering about the game, I started thinking about the sense of first person shooters nowadays. Most of them are too serious and get boring eventually. After toying around with some ragdoll physics and having the character spaz out, I thought about turning the game into a comedy type shooter. Therefore, there are no more country based teams. There will be two teams, the Swag Ops and Dankers. On top of that, the game will have tons of easter eggs and references to other things whether it is video game wise or internet wise. On top of that, I think I finally have a model that I am comfortable with. It is very similar to the character model with the cube head. The only difference is now it is a spherical shaped head.
On a side note, Update 4 was released as of July 17,2016. It was honestly a lazy update that I wanted to get out of the way JUST to get to Update 5. I wanted all the cool things that I want to show to be in the fifth update; however, I will be showing little by little of the epic implementations in the upcoming Updates. Stay tuned!

5/5/2016 | Head movement!
After all this time of game development, I have finally managed to get the head to move separately from the body. If my theory is correct, I would be able to do the same thing for the arms as well. All I have to do is set the origin point of the arms somewhere that makes sense when you move the head and arms at the same time.
Alpha Version 1.1.0
Progress with One With Guns is getting better as time progresses. I have managed to accomplish quite a few goals I had set for my self. One for example is extending the Construction map like I said I would in video Update 1 instead of procrastinating like I usually do. This extension will be shown in video Update 2 along with another map called Warzone which is a huge map that will be big enough to have long range sniper battles AND fly planes around. Another map that has already been added is the Maze which is a small map(smaller than Nuketown) to help keep a fast paced feel. If I so happen to feel really productive and hyped up on the time of making the Warzone map, I will make another map called Salutem Mall.
Aside from maps, my attention in development is kind of opposite as of most developers. If you've watched probably over 100 YouTube videos on video game updates on other developer's game, then there is probably a 99.99% chance that you've seen something along the lines of "We(I) are(am) focusing more on the gameplay features first rather than the visuals of the game." I am doing the opposite. Yep, you guessed it - I'm working on the aesthetics of the game FIRST as my primary concern before gameplay. The reason being for this is because I started off as a 3D graphics designer in 2014 and that is what I still study on. I have not bothered studying code for more than 4 days as of mid 2015..yeah..I know right. I have little experience with JavaScript(UnityScript) from trial and error but it's the basic stuff like Input.Getbutton and stuff like that. The one BIG script that I managed to do completely by my self is a helicopter script that moves on the axis of the world using WASD(does not tilt when moving unfortunately). So with that being said, I am doing visuals first like the maps, the props, the guns, the vehicles, the buildings, and other objects of the sort. So yeah, that's a little blog( I suppose you could call it) for Alpha Verson 1.1.0. Thanks for reading!
